Silver Dollar City is a wonderful amusement park located in Branson, Missouri approximately 2 hours from the Fort Leonard Wood area. There are rides for children and adults to enjoy, great shows with very talented casts, and unique shopping that you will not find anywhere else! Also, upon entering the amusement park — check out the cave! Be ready to walk a lot and there are a few spots that involve bending into tighter spaces, but it is a great experience!
Next, prepare to bring sunscreen and get wet! With the fun water attractions throughout the park, you will appreciate the cool feeling in the summer hear. Within minutes of stepping into these area, we were completely soaked! Just a short walk from this area, you will find a large frying pan cooking amazing homestyle food. There are several tasty food options in Silver Dollar City. Pictured below is the one that we went to.
The Mine Restaurant! Very unique setting and buffet style food, this restaurant was different from any we have ever tried. We enjoyed the service, food, and setting. You can find them near the entrance of the amusement park as well!
Lastly, Silver Dollar City has a BEAUTIFUL Christmas time display. We highly recommend visiting, enjoying their lights, food Christmas decor in their stores, Christmas shows, and more! We can’t forget to mention the fun Christmas Parade through the park! We hope you enjoy your time visiting!
