Did you know that approximately an hour and 15 minutes away from Fort Leonard Wood, you can find the Pythian Castle in Springfield, MO. The history is rich within the walls of this castle. During our visit we attended the Ghost Tour and really enjoyed ourselves! The tour guide was well educated on the history of the castle, and she brought along a voice recorder to catch spirits interacting with the group. We viewed several rooms on the main floor, basement and upstairs. The Pythian Castle also celebrates holiday events and can be reserved for other events, such as a wedding!
